The Client

Personal project — designed as a learning sandbox and proof of concept for AI-powered wellness apps that respect user boundaries.

The Challenge

Build a full-stack astrology and astronomy app from scratch — real planetary data, personalized daily content, mood tracking with AI-generated insights — without the manipulative engagement patterns common in wellness tech. Ship it in under two weeks as a solo developer.

What I Built

End-to-end product: user authentication, birthday-based sun sign profiles, real-time moon phase data, personalized AI horoscopes, an energy tracker that correlates mood with lunar cycles, a scripted feedback chat with PII filtering and rate limiting, and layered CSS animations. Mobile-first responsive design with GA4 and Supabase analytics.

The Result

A live, polished web app that delivers personalized moon pattern insights from real user data — not generic horoscope fluff. Built with intentional safety guardrails: no AI chatbot exposure, no persistent personal data harvesting, and user-controlled data boundaries. Currently in beta testing.
